Acrobat 9 can help litigators create vivid interactive exhibits

Recently, an expert witness in a personal injury case asked if we could somehow create a .PDF version of our 3D model of a water treatment facility — and make it interactive. The surprising answer was yes, using Adobe Acrobat 9. And it wasn’t a primitive rendition: armed with only the free Acrobat Reader, viewers can rotate, move, measure parts and even slice-and-dice cross sections — to name a few major interactions. Much like Flash, which is also supported, you can create preset views to guide the PDF reader to the information referenced in the text of the document.
