Denver (June 16, 2011) – Holland & Hart is pleased to announce the addition of C. Jean Stewart to the firm's Fiduciary Solutions Group effective July 1, 2011. The Fiduciary Solutions Group is a specialty practice within the firm's Private Client Practice Group. The Fiduciary Solutions Group represents trustees, executors, financial institutions, trust companies, beneficiaries, creditors, agents under powers of attorney, and individuals in probate, trust, and fiduciary disputes.
Ms. Stewart will offer services as an appointed judge and special master, as provided in Colorado law, and will provide services to the firm and its clients in a full range of trusts and estates matters, including probate, trust, estate and gift tax, fiduciary-related litigation, estate and trust administration, and estate planning. As part of the Fiduciary Solutions Group, Ms. Stewart will counsel corporate fiduciaries, individual fiduciaries, and creditors in the resolution of probate and trust-related disputes through arbitration or mediation.

Ms. Stewart served as the Presiding Judge of the Denver Probate Court for the past 16 years where she was responsible for management of all aspects of the budget, personnel, planning, and execution of the court's systems, policies, and procedures. She is an active teacher, mentor, and leader in the probate arena and a variety of professional and community organizations.
