Last week the Danish Embassy of Washington, D.C. escorted several prominent members of the Renewable Energy community, including Holland & Hart's Mark Safty, on a tour of Denmark.
The purpose of the tour was to demonstrate the Danish case: dynamic economic growth coupled with flat energy consumption and green job creation. Denmark has achieved energy independence - much as the U.S. wishes to do.
